Fin J Kerr 2026 Save The Children Commission
About the work
Photojournalistic images from the second Unite the Kingdom rally in London, May 2026. Shot on black and white film using a variety of natural and artificial lighting, I covered the second Unite the Kingdom rally in London, focusing on characters and detail shots, this is the second UTK rally I have covered among many other political demonstrations in London as I am interested in politics and think that these events are history worth covering. Both UTK rallies were violent, hateful events fueled by booze and stinking of weed. It is important to document these events as they are a sign of the way the uk is going, we are delving more and more into fascism spurred on by the media and foreign entities and it is upsetting for me as a gay man to watch. I believe that everyone should be treated usually and I worry for those who have less privileges than I do.
